Title: The Wistful Prince
Medium: graphite
Size: 11″x11″
Artist: Mark Johnson
Year: 2011
About the painting: I was imagining how a simple Frog might respond to the magic, beauty and poignancy of a Pensive Dancer. Perhaps the magic would bring about a certain wistfulness in the Frog, and make it wish it were a Prince who could kiss the Dancer who could awaken her from her inward gaze with a simple Kiss.
About the artist: I like to explore and share my sense of Wonder & Whimsy

Title: Faith, Love, Hope
Medium: Acrylic and gold foil on wood
Size: 8″x18″
Artist: David Bowring

About the painting: This painting represents the Three Cardinal Virtues by single blossoms of Trilium, Bleeding heart and Croccus. I have borrowed the gold (imitation) foil halo from Byzantine inconography to represent holiness.
